3rd January, 1941.

Dear Reeve wallace,

With reference to the application for leave to apocal in forma pauperis by one L1 Hung Fui, of which I understand you h ve received notice from Sharp Pritchard & Co., we shall not instruct Burchells until the petition is actually presented. In the meantime, perhaps you would inform Sharp Pritchard & Co. that the sentence has been respited, but that this is not indefinite and we expect them to present the petition and to pursue their appeal promptly.

we have, as you know, had great delays over some of these cases, and we are determined here to do what we can to minimise them.

Yours sincerely,

W. Reeve Wallace, Esq., C. B. .
